Every Wednesday from 6 pm to 9 pm, the Boston Museum of Fine Arts holds a drawing session with a clothed model. (Wednesday evening entry to the museum is free). The session is held in a different gallery each week. Drawing boards, paper, pencils are there for everyone to use. Just a note, the last Wednesday of every month does not have a model. Instead of drawing a model, we draw from the objects in the galleries. Last night was a very crowded session. I found myself sitting on the ground to be able to have a good view of the model. The model was very inspiring and reminded me a bit of Alice in Wonderland. Here are a few of my drawings from last night. The first and third are 15 minute poses, and the second was 10 minutes. My favorite is the last one.
